Hunger Games Part IV

Welcome to the last post in my Hunger Games series! I'm so excited to go to the premiere tonight! I went out and bought a shirt, and I might try to find the mockingjay pin tomorrow at a different mall than I went to earlier. So for today's post I attempted some nail art, which I normally don't do because I'm awful at it. Pretty much I'm going to show you the nails that turned out. Each nail that I did was it's own idea, which I would expand on for the entire manicure, but I didn't have time to do full on manicures. Let's get started!

Katniss' silver bow and arrow from the arena. Didn't work so much because I have very long and curved nails. It would work best on wider nails.

District 12. Self-explanatory. 

Fire tip stamp. Would look better with a base coat but this is one of the ones that drove me insane because the base wouldn't dry enough to do the stamping on.

Hunger Games. Again, self-explanatory.

Plant stamp. Reminded me of herbs or plants, so I used it for the ones that Katniss finds for her mom in the woods. Again, would look better with a base color, but it wouldn't dry.

My sad, sad attempt at the mockingjay. My nail art pen wouldn't work, plus it's really hard to draw.

Inspired by the nightlock berries that Katniss and Peeta almost take.

Camouflage nail, inspired by Peeta's talent at camouflage (and frosting cakes...if only you could frost someone to death).

Cupcake stamp, again inspired by Peeta. 

Pearl.Originally this was inspired by the pearl that Peeta gives Katniss in the second book, but seeing how I was trying to stick to the first book I decided that it's perfect for when Effie says that when you put enough pressure on coal it turns into a pearl, hahaha.

And this. My amazing mani that I'm so happy with! It took forever because I kept trying to perfect it. But I love the final product.
